Creative lead and art direction for Wimbledon's 'The Virtual Hill', created in partnership with American Express.

With depleted ticket capacities for The Championships 2021 only confirmed shortly before the event began, the team at Wimbledon wanted to consider new and engaging ways to bring the tournament to life for fans not able to attend.

‘The Virtual Hill’ offered Wimbledon tennis fans across the globe the chance to be involved in the 2021 tournament as part of a virtual crowd for the first time ever. Featuring live quizzes and interactions to coincide with the real-time action on court alongside daily unlockables and prizes. In its pilot year ‘The Virtual Hill’ amassed significant sign-ups for American Express and organic social impressions and went on to win several industry awards. Watch the video here.
