Holier Than Thou is composed of edited and overlapped candid images taken of the Notre Dame ‘Rose’ window - which have been taken in the context where photography is restricted or forbidden. These communally available images, pieced together and raised in scale, are degraded as a result of their limitations. The digital jpeg is printed and applied to a commercial medium whilst engaging with the aesthetic qualities of the original craft.
